The KTM 125 SX features light black rims featuring black coated, high-end Excel rims with lightweight, CNC-machined hubs and fingers with lightweight aluminum nipples. Wheels are kept in check by WP Suspension front up side down 4860 MXMA CC fork and rear WP Suspension 5018 BAVP DCC shock absorber. The backbone of a motorcycle is represented by a modern frame design made of high-strength light steel, chrome-molybdenum steel tube parts. The KTM 125 SX series has long since produced an undeniable podium finish all in the junior races and as a springboard to the professional league.
Wheels
The wheels are well suited for MY 2015 black coated features, high-end Excel rims with lightweight, CNC-machine hub and radius with lightweight aluminum nipples, allowing the highest level of stability to be achieved, while keeping the weight to a minimum. The new Dunlop Geomax MX 52 tire is developed in collaboration with the USA KTM factory team and offers excellent traction with peak performance. The new rear sprocket saves 50 grams of unsprung mass.

Framework
KTM engineers have focused on designing ergonomic and functional bodywork in such a way that all motorcycles are in perfect harmony with riders down to the last detail. Airbox
At the same time, airbox design ensures optimum protection from air filters from dirt plus maximum air throughput for ultimate performance. Quick replacement of twin-air filters - without tools and in seconds - has long been an unrivaled KTM standard.
Fuel tank
All models in the SX range are equipped with 7.5 liters, lightweight polyethylene fuel tanks. The fuel pump system used in the 4-stroke motocross model is the same as that used in the 4-stroke enduro model, allowing an optional tank fitting greater than the PowerParts range or from the enduro model.
Frame
The modern frame design of the SX model, which consists of lightweight, high strength, chrome-molybdenum tubular steel parts, combines maximum elongated rigidity with optimum torque rigidity. A forged and milled cross-tube connects two frame sections with connecting rods of linkage on the new SX frame for 2015. The neglect of the weld seams leads to manufacturing tolerances for very precise and greater security - moreover, saves another 60 grams of weight.
Shock Absorber
Equipped with new linkage with optimized geometry. A flat development with a higher initial rate ensures greater stability and lower back. In addition, the new design saves another 40 grams of weight. The fully tuned WP 5018 shock absorber has completely returned again to match the new linkage.
Shok ahead
The fully customizable front sash from WP Suspension has been perfectly tuned to the new rear wheel drive system and a new 22 mm front axle (formerly 26 mm) for MY 2015. The new shaft provides a better feel for the front wheels and also saves over 40 grams. The new forked topics now feature 33 mm offset instead of 35 mm, which together with the increase in trace provides greater travel stability. In addition, they accommodate newly developed, 50 grams lighter.
